SEAWORK in Southampton is the UK’s leading maritime workboat show. Each year, the event attracts approximately 7.200 visitors from 60 countries.

The UK maritime industry is well-established and successful, much like the Netherlands. Howevedr, the UK’s thriving shipping sector still generates excessive greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants. To address this, the UK government has ben strongly committed to the decarbonization of the maritime sector in recent years. National initiatives such as the “Clean Maritime Plan” aim to help the country achieve its (inter)national climate targets.

Opportunities for Dutch companies:

• Alternative fuels & battery solutions for ships.

The UK government has recently made significant investments in these areas, creating great opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs with innovative maritime solutions. The energy transition is driving cleaner shipping, while also stimulating advancements in autonomous vessels, efficiency, and safety.

SME Lounge

for the second time, NMT-IRO is organizing a collective participation at this event with an SME Lounge. The SME Lounge is a shared stand with multiple Dutch companies – an ideal base to visit the exhibition, meet clients, and exchange experiences with other participants.

Participation includes the following:

• shared 30sqm stand with your logo displayed;
• option to present your product (table model);
• catering throughout the day (coffee, soft drinks, lunch, etc.);
• networking reception;
• joint PR & promotion;
• exhibitor listing in the exhibition catalogue; and
• support & guidance from NMT-IRO.

Co-exhibitor fee: €600

A minimum of 10 participants is required in order to proceed with this activity. Prices are excluding VAT and travel related expenses.
