Wind Energy 2050 Conference

11 November @ 09:30 - 18:30

On November 11, TU Delft, will host the Wind Energy 2050 Conference. A full-day immersive experience into the future of offshore wind energy. As the race toward 2050 accelerates, the ambitions for wind energy are greater than ever: 70 GW for the Netherlands and 260 GW across the North Sea. To meet these goals, what’s needed is more than ambition! It takes innovation, collaboration, and bold solutions.

Why join?

  • Hear from experts in research, industry, and policy as they navigate where offshore wind has been, where it is now, and where it’s headed.
  • Dive into topics such as turbine design, system integration, circularity, and wind’s role in the broader global energy mix.
  • Gain fresh perspectives on critical challenges; from regulatory frameworks and ecological impact to technological breakthroughs.
  • Explore the Wind Energy Innovation Market, featuring live demos, start-up showcases, and poster presentations during lunch and networking breaks.
  • Connect with peers and drive ideas forward over networking drinks.
