SUMMARY:Netherlands Lounge @ Wind Expo Tokyo
DESCRIPTION:The Japanese government has set ambitious goals: by the end of 2025\, they aim to deploy an impressive 6GW of offshore wind capacity\, expanding to 30-45GW by 2040\, including floating wind farms. This is a bold step towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. To realize this vision\, Japan recognizes the need for international expertise\, creating incredible opportunities for Dutch wind energy companies! \nThe Netherlands is highly regarded in Japan as reliable and innovative partner in offshore wind energy. Since 2014\, Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE)\, supported by the Dutch government\, has built a strong and extensive network within the Japanese wind energy industry. This collaboration has already paved the way for many successes and promises eveen greater potential. \nTo further explore this exciting opportunities for the Dutch wind sector and enhance visibility in the Japanese market\, HHWE\, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tokyo and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)\, will organize a Netherlands Lounge at the Wind Expo Tokyo 2026. This leading event will take place from March 17 – 19\, 2026\, in Tokyo\, Japan. \nDon’t miss this unique opportunity to showcase the power of Dutch innovation in offshore wind on the global stage! \nNetherlands Pavilion\nFor the 2026 edition we reserved a floorspace of 250sqm for the Netherlands Pavilion\, of which 100sqm will be allocated for the Netherlands Lounge. The rest of the floorspace is for Dutch companies who want to have their own booth and identity\, but want to be part of the Netherlands Pavilion. The Netherlands Pavilion is located at a central spot of the Wind Expo Tokyo (WET) exhibition floor. \nNetherlands Lounge – poster panel\nIn the joint Netherlands Lounge\, every participant will get individual exposure as well. The Lounge can accommodate up to 24 companies. See photos below for an impression of the Netherlands Lounge at the Wind Expo Tokyo February 2025 edition. \nThe following services are included: \n\nfully equipped joint Netherlands booth with customized branding;\nown poster desk for each participating company (poster dimensions 950mm W x 1730mm H)\, with space for company brochures;\nexposure of company logo within the Lounge design;\nshared TV screen for corporate video (max. 1\,5 min.) OR PowerPoint Presentation (max. 6 slides) in the Lounge;\nhosting support on site from HHWE\, NL Embassy and interpreters;\nsupport in arranging individual meetings with Japanese stakeholders;\nyour company profile in the (online) exhibitor directory AND the NL mission booklet;\nhotel and flight recommendation;\nparticipation in the JP – NL side event\, one day prior to the exhibition;\ndrinks & snacks in the Lounge (incl. barista for the best coffee!); and\njoint promotion.\n\nNetherlands Pavilion – own booth space\nIf you want to participate with your own booth\, and also be part of the Netherlands Pavilion\, you can now book your raw booth space via HHWE!
