From February 27 till March 1, Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and DUJAM Desk will organize the Holland Pavilion at the Wind Expo Tokyo 2018, the largest wind energy show in Japan. Currently the developments of an offshore wind industry in Japan are progressing steadily with the related challenges. Now after years of testing and planning, Japan going to construct the first offshore wind farms.
The Netherlands is now recognized in Japan as a knowledgeable wind power nation. Since 2014, the Netherlands has built up a widespread network within the Japanese offshore wind industry with players at all levels; Japanese government (central and local), associations, research institutes, developers, contractors, financial institutes, suppliers, etc. All this resulted that Japan became interested in strategies and policies for offshore wind development in the Netherlands. Therefore, Dutch companies will be in a good position to capitalize on the wind power development in Japan.
The Wind Expo Tokyo attracts many exhibitors from all around the world. Please see here for an impression of the Holland Pavilion at Wind Expo 2018.
The Netherlands Pavilion will offer the following included services:
- Fully equipped booth with customized design;
- Exposure of company logo and name and poster;
- Presence of TV on the Pavilion to play the companies’ PPT slides;
- Drinks, snacks and lunches;
- Proposal for accommodation arrangement;
- Proposal for transport services for exhibition material;
- Promotion of the Netherlands Pavilion in the Japanese maritime cluster; and
- Network event.
Expected costs: between the EUR 5,000 and EUR 6,000 (excl. 8%VAT). To cover part of the fee, participants can apply for a RVO missievoucher with a maximum worth of EUR 1,500. If you are interested to join the Holland Pavilion at the Wind Expo Tokyo, please contact Eline Timmer.
