Offshore wind visit to Vibrant Gujarat, India (17-20 January)

Aanvangsdatum: 17-Jan-2019
Capaciteit: (0% geboekt)

India is ranked as the second most attractive renewable energy market in the world. The country has set an ambitious target of 175 GW of renewable power by 2022, which includes 60 GW from wind power.

With vast interest from some of the largest global and domestic wind energy players for the development of a 1,000 MW project off Gujarat, we invite Dutch companies to participate in a joint visit to India in January 2019.
This visit is organised in conjunction with the trade mission headed by Mr. Menno Snel, Minister of Customs and Taxation/State Secretary of the Netherlands. It also includes participation in the “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit” that will be attended by many relevant Dutch and Indian government officials, captains of industry and companies.

In view of the promising prospects for renewable energy in India, the branch organisations HHWE, IRO, NMT and NWEA have appointed India as a focus country for offshore wind
The year 2019 will be used to compile a detailed assessment of this market and its stakeholders, as well as to further identify potential business opportunities for the Dutch supply chain. Subject to the number of interested companies, the visit to Gujarat in January 2019 is the first initiative to jointly approach this region under the umbrella campaign “wind & water works”. This brand uses our unique Dutch expertise and track record to provide a uniform and united branding platform for Dutch companies who are active in offshore wind.

Companies who are interested in business opportunities for offshore wind in India are invited to take part in the visit that will provide you with the following benefits:
- Participation in the Holland pavilion at the “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit” (stand design t.b.d., this will probably comprise of a wall panel with your logo & display of brochures in the joint Holland pavilion)
