The AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER Conference and exhibition is set to take place on October 13 & 14 and will take place both physical and virtual.
The US Offshore wind industry is set to deliver significant economic benefits over the next decade. In addition to providing clean, affordable, and reliable power, the US Offshore Wind Power Economic Impact Assessment estimates that developing 30.000MW of offshore wind along the East Coast could support up to 83.000 jobs and deliver $25 billion in annual economic output by 2030. With offshore wind playing a critical role in economic recovery, it is more important now than ever to build your network in the US!
The AWEA is focused on creating a valuable and succesful online experience allowing participants to connect during this critical time in the offshore wind sector. Participants will have available live presentation, on-demand sessions, matchmaking, a marketplace of product & service providers, and unique shared social experiences.
All educational content will be virtual. All exhibits will also be available in a virtual marketplace. But, besides the virtual part, a limited in-person component will take place in Washington D.C. on October 13.

Before the spread of COVID-19, Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) already commited to participate in the AWEA with a Netherlands booth, however, since we will not be able to join the event in person due to government- and travelrestrictions, we have to discuss with the AWEA on how to proceed with our participation.
We expect to have more information about the NL participation in the week of September 14. In the meantime, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Eline Timmer (firstname.lastname@example.org / +31 6 51 24 90 79) or Arjen Schutten (email@example.com / +31 6 46 36 38 54).
