Working apart together: Join the PIB Offshore Wind France!
After a slow start the offshore wind business in France is finally starting to pick up. The offshore wind tendering target is 8.75GW by 2028. The interesting thing about France is that it also has started to tender and award floating wind farms in the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. A recent market report commissioned by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Dutch Embassy in Paris and NBSO Nantes indicates that there are great opportunities for Dutch maritime contrators and suppliers. This Partners for International Business (PIB) initiative aims to establish partnerships with the main offshore wind hubs in France.
What do we offer?
By joining the PIB Offshore Wind France you will be part of a program that support Dutch companies to identify and capitalize on business opportunities at the five main offshore wind hubs in France: Normandy, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA).
PIB Members may expect the following benefits from their participation in the program:
- Services by a locally based liaison officer, such as export activities support, advise on local content strategy, supply chain analyses and relevant market updates.
- Free participation at the NL Netherlands Pavilions on the future conferences and exhibitions Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWT), Seanergy and Energaïa.
- Free participation on future tours to the offshore wind hubs.
- Two draft France Supply Chain Directory ready by October 2021: one directory will be focused on bottom-fixed wind farms and the other on floating wind.
- Economikc Diplomacy support by our embassy in Paris and NBSO in Nantes.
