9 November @ 08:00 - 10 November @ 17:00
The Global Offshore Wind Summit Japan (GOWSJ) will help carry forward the Japanese Government’s Carbon Neutrality by 2025 declaration, the formulation of the “Green Growth Strategy” with a vision to develop 30-45 GW of offshore wind by 2040. The GOWSJ 2021 event was held in hybrid format with over 900 onsite and virtual attendees, 25 sponsors, making the first GOWSJ a success. This year, the GOWSJ will be held at Akita Prefecture where the first offshore wind farms in Japan are being built with the goal of starting operations by the end of 2022.
This event is organized by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA).
