After careful consideration, we have decided not to participate in Windergy India this year. This decision was made based on the current level of interest and the timing of the event. Together with NMT-IRO, we are now exploring the possibility of organizing a joint Netherlands participation at India Energy Week, which will take place from January 27-30, 2026, in Gao, India. More information about this event will follow soon. 

India is one of the fastest-growing wind energy markets in the world, with ambitious targets to achieve 140GW of installed wind capacity by 2030 as part of its commitment to renewable energy and carbon neutrality by 2070. The country has already established itself as a global leader in onshore wind energy and is now making significant strides in offshore wind development, with potential projects identified along its vast coastline. 

For Dutch companies, renowned for their expertise in offshore wind technology, sustainable solutions, and innovative engineering, India presents a wealth of opportunities. The Indian government is actively seeking international partnerships to boost technical know-how, projects execution, and supply chain efficiency in its wind energy sector.

With a growing emphasis on clean energy, Dutch businesses can contribute to India’s renewable energy goals while establishing strong partnerships in this dynamic and promising market.

Windergy India 2025

Windergy India 2025 will be held from 29 – 31 October 2025 at Chennai, India. Organised by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and PDA Ventures Pvt Ltd, the 7th edition of Windergy India comprising of a 3-day trade fair and 2 day conference will provide a vibrant platform to meet, interact and engage with policymakers, regulatory authorities, international and domestic technology, solutions and service providers from the wind power industry.
