Ireland is a global leader in onshore wind energy and the integration of renewable power, with some of the best offshore wind resources on the planet. The Government has committed to at least 5GW of offshore wind energy generation by 2030, ramping up to 35GW by 2050, with potential estimates ranging from 70-100 GW post-2030.
