From March 19-21, 2024, Europe’s biggest on- and offshore wind event of the year will be heading to Bilbao for a three-day conference and exhibition. You can expect 10.000+ attendees to join for a look at the shape of European wind energy today. There’ll be dozens of conference sessions, hundreds of speakers, and 400+ exhibitors from the whole value chain looking top showcase their innovations and seal new deals. There will be social events across the event for you to reach out to new colleagues and educational sessions showing you all the ins and outs of wind energy.

When it comes to wind, Spain is one of Europe’s leading lights

In onshore wind, they’re one of the most important countries on the continent with 27GW of installed capacity. And their Offshore Wind Roadmap aims to build up to 3GW of floating wind by 2030. Today the industry employs 28.000 people in Spain and adds €3bn to its GDP. But their ambitions for wind continue to grow, and wind is at the heart of their long-term energy strategy.

And Bilbao is the jewel in Spain’s renewable crown

It’s the headquarters for two of Europe’s leading renewable energy leaders. Meanwhile the Basque Country aims to become a major offshore energy hub in the years ahead. When it comes to the energy transition, Bilbao’s future looks bright indeed!
