With ambitious climate goals\, including reaching carbon neutrality by 2060\, the Chinese government is heavily investing in the expansion of onshore and offshore wind energy. Technological advancements\, large-scale projects\, and an increasing focus on floating wind farms present exciting growth opportunities in this rapidly evolving market. \nConsidering that China has the world’s largest and most competitive wind supply chain and the market is ready to complete the transition from nearshore to deep water installations by the end of 2025\, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) predicts that 139GW of new offshore wind capacity will be built in the coming decade. This progress will further reinforce China’s position as a global leader in the offshore wind sector.With regards to onshore wind\, China’s onshore wind capacity amounted to some 335GW in 2022\, which offers enormous opportunities for the Dutch wind energy supply chain. \nFor Dutch companies\, known for their expertise in offshore wind technology\, project management and supply chain innovation\, China offers significant potential. The growing demand for international collaboration and cutting-edge solutions creates a fertile ground for partnerships and knowledge exchange. By leveraging their strong reputation and innovative capabilities\, Dutch businesses can play a key role in driving sustainable energy development in China’s expanding wind energy sector. \nThe China Wind Power (CWP) has grown into one of the world’s largest and most influential wind energy exbibitions. CWP provides an exchange platform for global wind sector to seek industrial development\, tackle climate change\, and explore solutions for energy transition. \nNetherlands Lounge\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) will participate with a Netherlands Lounge at the upcoming China Wind Power. In the Lounge\, every participant will be introduced individually. The total floor area of the Lounge is 42sqm\, conveniently located at the expo hall\, and can accommodate up to 12 companies. \nThe following services are included: \n\nfully equipped joint Netherlands booth with customized branding;\nown poster desk for each participating company;\nexposure of company logo within the Lounge design;\nshared TV screen for corporate video (max. 1\,5 min.) OR PowerPoint Presentation (max. 6 slides);\nhosting support on site;\nsupport in arranging individual meetings with Chinese stakeholders;\nhotel & flight recommendation;\nparticipation in the CN – NL side event(s) (TBC) & mission;\ndrinks & snacks in the Lounge; and\njoint promotion.\n\nMisson program\nAs part of the visit to China\, we\, together with the diplomatic network in China and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)\, will organize a mission program on Thursday October 23 and Friday October 24\, 2025. The mission program will be set up in consultation with the NL participants\, but will consist of e.g. the following components: B2B matchmaking\, networking event\, company visits\, and workshop/seminar. The draft program will be shared in the coming period. \nParticipation costs\nHHWE-members                            €2.950\,00\nNon-HHWE members                    €3.750\,00\nMission only                                   €250\,00 per person \nParticipants are responsible for their own travel expenses. All prices are excl. VAT. To cover part of the fee\, SME’s can apply for a Collective Subsidy Voucher via RVO\, with a max. worth of 80% of the participation fee (max. €2.500). In response to the growing demand for renewable energy\, the NEXT ENERGY Hall highlights recent developments in the Korean market. KORMARINE will take place from October 21–24\, 2025. With the addition of offshore (wind) energy\, it is the event to attend in Korea to connect with key stakeholders\, gain market insights\, establish or expand your network\, and position your company in this rapidly growing market. It brings the best exhibition experience to all exhibitors and visitors by attracting domestics/international companies and buyers\, as well as offering various seminars and events. \nWIth the addition of offshore wind\, KORMARINE is the event to attend in Korea for connecting with Korean stakeholders\, gain insights\, establish or expand your network and position your company in this rapidly growing market! \nNetherlands Pavilion\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and NMT-IRO intend to set up Netherlands Pavilion at the Next Energy Exhibition Hall. SUMMARY:Netherlands Lounge @ Wind Energy Trade Show Ireland
DESCRIPTION:Wind Energy Ireland Trade Show 2025\, a world-class event that will take place on October 22-23\, 2025\, at the RDS Main Arena in Dublin\, Ireland. This event is a must-attend for anyone involved in the renewable energy sector\, offering unparalleled opportunities to connect\, learn\, and innovate. \nIreland is a global leader in onshore wind energy and the integration of renewable power\, with some of the best offshore wind resources on the planet. The first offshore wind projects are entering the planning system\, and new offshore and onshore auctions are set for 2024 and early 2025. \nIreland is finalizing the South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan (DMAP)\, the first sub-national maritime spatial plan for offshore renewable energy. This draft DMAP identifies four maritime areas for future offshore wind development off the South Coast of Ireland. \nThe Government has committed to at least 5GW of offshore wind energy generation by 2030\, ramping up to 35GW by 2050\, with potential estimates ranging from 70-100 GW post-2030. \] \nThis substantial potential positions Ireland to become a major exporter of green energy\, powering much of Europe by 2050 via wind-generated electricity and hydrogen. Now is the perfect time to source opportunities\, build networks\, and lay the foundations for a prosperous future in offshore wind in Ireland.
