DESCRIPTION:Details\nThe International Partnering Forum (IPF) is the largest offshore wind conference in the Western hemisphere. IPF is where the offshore wind industry comes together to receive breaking news\, gain technical knowledge\, and engage in networking opportunities with industry colleagues and decision makers. The IPF is organized by the Business Network for Offshore Wind (BNOW)\, a non profit organization solely focused on the development of the U.S. offshore wind industry and advancement of its supply chain. \nWith the current state of affairs in offshore wind in the U.S.\, the project pipeline and the release of the final environmental impact statement for Vineyard Wind\, which is a big success for the further developments of Vineyard Wind\, the time is right to capitalize on business opportunities in the U.S. \nTraveling to the U.S.\nIf you aren’t based in the U.S.\, it’s required to apply for a so-called National Interest Exception (NIE)\, in order for you to travel to the U.S. Without a NIE\, you can’t enter the U.S.\nFor more information and how to apply for this NIE\, please check the website of the U.S. Embassy in the Netherlands here.\nThere’s no guarantee this NIE will be granted to you\, that’s of course up to the U.S Embassy in the Netherlands. \nApplications can take up to 15-30 working days\, so make sure to start your application soon if you are planning to visit the IPF.\nIn case you need documents from the U.S. to support your application (e.g. invitation letter from BNOW)\, please let us know what you need and we will take care of that together with our local partners. \nPresident Biden’s administration is working on lifting the COVID-19 restrictions posed on EU citizens\, but it’s premature to put a date on any such move\, according to the Administration\, which means we don’t know if this will happen before the IPF will take place. \nIPF Virtual & Together\nThe IPF 2021 is being held in two parts: virtual and in-person. \n– IPF Virtual: April 22\, May 13\, and June 17;\n– IPF Together: August 24-26 in Richmond\, Virginia. \nBy splitting the vast amount of educational content and in-person networking into two segments\, the IPF can provide you with the technical and policy information you need and allow for more dedicated time for relationship building at the in-person event. \nSince most of the COVID-19 measures are lifted in Virginia\, there’s no limit on the amount of visitors at the IPF Together. \nNL Netherlands Lounge Package\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) will organize a NL Netherlands Lounge at the IPF 2021 Together. DESCRIPTION:Discover opportunities in the Irish offshore wind sector\nAre you interested to enter the Irish offshore wind market or would you like to deepen/expand your network? Consider joining this virtual mission focusing on the current and future developments in the Irish offshore wind sector! \nThanks to an ambitious program of the government and despite the COVID-19 pandemic\, offshore wind developments in Ireland are taking off. The Irish government published a Climate Action Plan (CAP) in 2019 by which it outlined a target to increase the renewable energy prodcution to 70% by 2030. This increase shall comprise at least 1GW of offshore wind by 2025 and 5GW of offshore wind by 2030. Beyond 2030\, assuming sufficient progress in technological developments\, Ireland has\, due to its excellent wind conditions\, immense potential for the development of additional offshore wind. Sustainable Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and the Offshore Renewable Energy Development Plan (OREDP) refer to 12.5GW for fixed and up to 30GW for floating offshore wind\, whereas EirWind forecasts an aggregated installed capacity of offshore wind of 24.9 by 2050. \nIrish companies are currently looking for partners and suppliers for the upcoming projects\, which means there are plenty of business opportunities for Dutch companies. \nVirtual mission\nThe Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dublin\, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) will organize a series of events to provide the Dutch sector with knowledge and connections to navigate the Irish market. \nDue to the current COVID-19 restrictions\, the program will entirely take place online and will consist of: \n1. Webinars (topics: offshore wind developments in Ireland and the Netherlands\, bottom-fixed\, floating wind\, and port  development);\n2. Targeted Sessions where developers and/or Tier 1 companies will be able to present themselves to a group of Dutch/Irish  businesses; and\n3. 1-on1 Digital Matchmaking. \nA more detailed program will be published soon and is developed in close coordinator with our Irish partners Enterprise Ireland (EI)\, the Irish Maritime Development Office (IMDO) and Wind Energy Ireland (WEI). \nObjectives of the program are \n1. To facilitate an exchange about the current state of affairs in Ireland and the Netherlands on offshore wind;\n2. Strengthen the relationships on both public and private level\, between Ireland and the Netherlands\, in offshore wind;\n3. Encourage business and collaboration meetings between Irish and Dutch companies and stakeholders; and\n4. Identify trade and investment opportunities (and barriers) for Dutch companies within the Irish offshore wind sector and      for the Irish companies within the Dutch offshore wind sector. \nParticipation Costs\n€250\,00 per Dutch company (max. 2p. per company).
