SUMMARY:WindEurope Annual Event 2025
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that we will be attending the WindEurope Annual Event 2025\, taking place from April 8-10\, 2025\, at the Bella Center in Copenhagen\, Denmark. This premier event will bring together over 15\,000 industry professionals and more than 500 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in wind energy. It is an unmissable opportunity for networking\, learning\, and exploring new business prospects. See who is exhibiting through the floorplan here or through the exhibitors list. \nDenmark\, the birthplace of wind energy\, continues to lead the way in renewable energy. With more than half of its electricity generated by wind power—up to 55%—Denmark is setting new records and driving the future of clean energy. WindEurope\, in partnership with the city of Copenhagen and key Danish stakeholders\, is proud to host this pivotal industry event. Following the record-breaking attendance of nearly 16\,000 participants in 2023\, we anticipate even greater participation in 2025. \nAs Europe moves closer to its 2030 energy and climate targets\, the need to accelerate the energy transition has never been more urgent. The WindEurope Annual Event 2025 will be a key opportunity for the sector to come together\, set the course for future success\, and ensure wind energy plays a central role in achieving Europe’s sustainable energy goals. \nThe year 2025 will also mark a turning point in European politics\, with a new European Commission taking office in November 2024. Wind energy will face increased scrutiny as governments evaluate the costs and benefits of the energy transition. This is the time to showcase the value of wind—not only in combating climate change but also as a source of jobs\, innovation\, and energy sovereignty. Wind power already supports 350\,000 jobs in Europe and provides 250 GW of installed capacity\, powering homes\, factories\, and livelihoods with clean\, locally-sourced energy. \nNetherlands participation\nWe are planning to organize a Dutch Village at the WindEurope Annual Event 2025. For more information\, please contact events@hhwe.eu \nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) will also be attending the event as visitors. We are available for meetings and informal chats during the event. SUMMARY:OTC Houston
DESCRIPTION:Join the IRO Netherlands Pavilion at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 5-8 May\, 2025\, in Houston! \nBeing one of the world’s leading offshore energy shows that has been organized since 1969\, OTC is where the world’s energy professionals meet to exchange knowledge and share ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources. The energy transition is an important part of the exhibition with an energy transition pavilion and an offshore wind lounge central on the exhibition floor and a substantiall part of the conference topics. \nThis year IRO has joint forces with the Italian and the UK Pavilions by having their separate country pavilions right next to each other\, close to the ‘traditional’ location around the main isle. \nPricing schedule\nDue to fluctuations in the logistics costs\, IRO decided to list those separately and invoice afterwards based on true costs. \n \nNB: square meter prices have both a dollar and an euro component. These two added form the total price per square meter. Prices are excl. VAT.  \n*the amount of $250/m2 is an estimation of the standard stand building logistics costs (shipping + local transport costs called ‘drayage’). These costs are fluctuating so much that IRO decided to list those separately and invoice afterwards based on the true costs. Obviously together with their logistics partner 8 Event Freight they will do everyting in their power to mitigate those. In 2023 and 2024 IRO managed to keep those below $200/m2. SUMMARY:Turkish Wind Energy Congress
DESCRIPTION:After careful consideration\, we have decided not to participate in Turkish Wind Energy Congress (TWEC) this year. This decision was made based on the current level of interest and the timing of the event. We truly value the opportunities that TWEC offers and hope to join the next edition in 2026. \nAs of 2024\, Turkey boasts an impressive 12GW of installed wind energy capacity\, contributing around 10% of the country’s electricity needs. Most of this capacity is located in the Aegean and Marmara regions in the west. Wind energy is rapidly gaining prominence within Turkey’s renewable energy mix\, driven by the government’s ambitious targets. Under its National Energy Plan (NEP)\, unveiled in 2022\, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MENR) aims to achieve 30GW of installed wind capacity by 2035\, including an exciting 5GW dedicated to offshore wind projects.  \nIn June 2023\, MENR took a significant step forwared by launching a tender for site investigations and consultancy services in three key development zones in the Sea of Marmara. This move is set to lay the groundwork for Turkey’s first-ever offshore wind auction in the first half of 2025\, marking a pivotal moment for the sector. \nWith Turkey’s ambitious goals and a strong demand for international expertise\, the time to act is now! The Dutch wind sector\, known for its cutting-edge innovation and offshore wind expertise\, is uniquely positioned to seize the opportunities in both the onshore and offshore markets. Don’t miss your chance to be part of Turkey’s renewable energy transformation! \nTurkish Wind Energy Congress\nThe 14th Turkish Wind Energy Congress (TWEC)\, organized by the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA)\, is scheduled to take place in September 2025\, The exact date will be confirmed soon. \nTWEC 2025 will address the latest development and opportunities int he Turkish wind enegy sector from both a national and global perspective and will once again be the most effective platform for information exchange and collaborations in Turkey. Experts\, stakeholders\, policymakers\, and academics from leading regions in the wind sector\, especially Europe\, will participate. \nMore information\nWhile HHWE will not organize a collective participation for this event\, we warmly encourage you to participate individually \nIf you have any questions or would like to know more about our activities or the Turkish market\, please reach out to us at events@hhwe.eu.
