DESCRIPTION:Are you active in the sustainable energy sector? And do you want to invest or want to do business in Indonesia? Consider joining the trade mission\, taking place from October 9-13\, 2023\, at the Energy and Climate Summit in Jakarta\, Indonesia. Exchange knowledge and establish contacts with the most important parties within the sector.  \nSustainable energy transition Indonesia\nIn 2030\, at least 34% of the electricity generated in Indonesia must be renewable. Indonesia and its international partners have agreed on this in the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). The Netherlands is one of the partners that implements JETP. To make the sustainable energy transition successful\, our country provides opportunities for investment. We do this together with knowledge institutes\, business partners and our Indonesian counterparts. \nOpportunities for organizations\nThe Renewable Energy and Climate Summit in Indonesia is about the sustainable energy transition in Indonesia. The goal: to accelerate the transition by connecting the most important parties. \nDuring this Energy and Climate Summit\, Indonesian and Dutch governments\, the private sector and renowned investors come together in one place. We share knowledge\, network and discuss possible solutions to major challenges. Investors and project developers are linked together. For example\, we ensure investments in Indonesia’s sustainable energy sector and establish relationships between Indonesian and Dutch trading partners. \nWho is this mission interesting for?\nThis mission is interesting for the following target groups: \n\nrepresentatives of the Indonesian and Dutch governments who are working on (financing) the energy transition;\ninvestors in this field;\ncompanies in the renewable energy sector\, with a focus on offshore wind and floating solar energy; and\nexperts from knowledge institutions working on the development of sustainable energy.\n\nWhy participate?\nParticipation in this mission offers you an exclusive knowledge and networking program: \n\nyou will gain knowledge of the latest innovations and developments in the field of sustainable energy;\nyou establish new business contacts during the Energy and Climate Summit and the company visits; and\nyou can also visit the Indonesia Maritime Expo in Jakarta after the summit. This fair will take place from October 17-19\, 2023.\n\nProgram\nthe program consists of the following components: \n\nInvestors Forum. Provisional participants are: World Bank\, International Finance Corporation (IFC)\, Asian Development Bank (ADB)\, Invest International and the Dutch Finance Company for Developing Countries (FMO);\nRound tables and workshops with government and state-owned companies\, investors and the private sector. These are about specific themes;\nMatchmaking;\nA glimpse into the future of renewable energy in Indonesia and JETP ambitions; and\nSite and company visits.\n\nFocus: Offshore wind and floating solar energy\nThe main themese of the Summit is the development of offshore wind and floating solar energy. But during the round tables and workshops also other themes will be discussed. Think of onshore wind\, green hydrogen\, carbon storage\, and grid development. \nParticipation and costs\nSign up via this link. Deadline for registration: June 30\, 2023. \nParticipation costs are €500 (excl. VAT) per company. A maximum of two participants per organization is allowed. SUMMARY:Netherlands Lounge @ Wind Energy Trade Show Ireland SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:The Netherlands Lounge at the Wind Energy Trade Show Ireland is sold out.  \nAlready a leader in onshore wind energy\, Ireland has the project pipeline and the determination to become a force in offshore renewables as well. In May 2023\, Ireland successfully held its first-ever offshore wind auction. Four projects with a combined capacity of 3GW were awarded. The successful completion of the auction is a breakthrough for renewables in Ireland and critical to achieving the targets set in Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action Plan. \nThe auction is a crucial landmark for the expansion of offshore wind in Ireland. As of now Ireland only has one small offshore wind farm of 25MW. The acution is also key to delivering Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action Plan. Ireland wants to have 5GW of installed offshore wind capacity and further 2GW of floating wind capacity under development by 2030. It’s central to the government’s target to provide 80% of electricity from renewables by 2030. But that will only be the beginning\, because by 2050\, Ireland aspires to have at least 37GW of offshore wind. \nIreland is now also working on a National Industrial Strategy for Offshore Wind – to be published in the first quarter of 2024. The Strategy aims to ensure that Ireland can build up the supply chain needed to deliver its offshore wind ambitions. And that it captures the long-term benefits of offshore wind for both the economy and society. And there’s a lot of work to do on the Irish supply chain. Crucially Ireland needs to invest in its port infrastructure. This is a top priority for the government. And Ireland must ensure it has a robust planning system that can quickly assess applications. The lack of resources and capacity in the National Parks & Wildlife Service and the delays in setting up the Maritime Area Regulatory Authority are critical concerns. \nAll of these developments and challenges create opportunities for Dutch wind power companies to enter the Irish market and contribute to the local supply chain. Now is the time to capitalize on your business opportunities\, and be part of the FIRST EVER Wind Energy Exhibition in Ireland! \nThe Wind Energy Trade Show 2023 is an exciting new event which will bring together Ireland’s growing domestic supply chain\, the key players in the global wind energy industry and cutting edge research from Ireland and internationally for the country’s first Wind Energy Trade Show. The 2023 Trade Show will showcase the exciting potential for new entrants into the Irish market and introduce the world Irish stakeholders. This event will be a meeting place where the world’s major players and key industry leaders will chart a vision for Ireland’s energy future alongisde a rapidly growing network of local and European suppliers all looking to invest in our energy revolution. \nNetherlands Lounge\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE)\, together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Dublin\, will set up a Netherlands Lounge with a total floorspace between of 54sqm\, in which every participant will get individual exposure. The Lounge is conveniently located at the expo hall\, and can accommodate up to 14 companies. \nParticipation includes the following: \n\nFully furnished booth with customized Netherlands / wind and water works branding;\nOwn poster desk for each participating company;\nCorporate photos and logo integrated in the Lounge graphics;\nCompany profile in (online) directory Wind Energy Trade Show;\nShared TV screen to display corporate video (max. 1\,5 min) or PowerPoint Presentation (max. 6 slides);\nHost(ess)/support on site by HHWE\, Dutch Embassy Dublin and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO);\nParticipation in the complete program during the week\, including a Dutch-Irish networking program (TBC);\n1 exhibitor pass per company (additional passes against reduced rate);\nSupport with arranging meetings on the exhibition floor;\nDrinks & snacks in the Lounge;\nHotel and travel recommendation; and\nJoint promotion.\n\nParticipation costs\nPIB Ireland members:              free of charge (additional passes against reduced rate)\nNon PIB members:                  €2.200\,00 \nParticipants are responsible for their own travel expenses. All prices are without VAT. \nMore information and registration\nTo register\, please use the ticket system above. Please note that PIB members have priority over non members until June 23\, after which we proceed to the first come first serve principle.\nFor more information\, please contact us via events@hhwe.eu. \nDeadline for registration; August 11\, 2023.
