SUMMARY:Netherlands Lounge @ Wind Energy Asian (SOLD OUT)
DESCRIPTION:Taiwan is the third-largest offshore wind market in the Asia-Pacific region. With ambitious targets and a significant and clear pipeline laid out\, the market has attracted eager interest from leading offshore wind developers and technology providers. \nAs of today\, two offshore wind projects under the Demonstration Incentive Program (DIP) have come online: Formosa I\, totaling 128MW\, and Changhua Demonstration project\, totaling 109MW. This will be followed by a series of projects including Great Changhua 1 & 2a (900MW0\, Formosa II (376MW)\, Yunlin (640MW) and Changfang Phase I (100MW). \nOffshore wind is a key component of Taiwan’s green economy vision\, which includes a scenario to generate 20% of electricity through renewable energy by 2025. In May 2021 the government announced that it would increase its offshore wind ambitions to 15GW over the 2026-2035 period. By 2050 there will be 40-55GW generated by offshore wind which will bring operation and maintenance work well over the middle of the century. Once the shallower water (<50m) is covered\, deeper sites will be necessary\, for which floating wind is ideal. Floating wind also brings with it the opportunity of developing new technologies and opening new possibilities. \nForeign knowledge and technology is required\, but contracts stipulate increasing local content requirements. For this a strong supply chain must be developed. Taiwan should become a hub for the industry in Asia creating export opportunities for Dutch companies as well. Giving the developments\, now is the time to capitalize on your business opportunities on the Taiwanese offshore wind market! \nThe Wind Energy Asia is the main wind energy B2B trading platform for Taiwan and brings together overseas and domestic players to help Taiwan in developing and building an entire supply chain for the wind energy industry. \nNetherlands Lounge\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) intends to set up a Netherlands Lounge\, in which every participant will be introduced individually. The total floor area of the Netherlands Lounge will be between the 36 and 48sqm and is located next to the main entrance together with the other national pavilions.  \nThe following services are included:  \n\nFully equipped joint Netherlands booth with customized Netherlands branding; \nOwn poster desk for each participating company; \nExposure of company logo and corporate photos; \nShared TV screen for PPT (max. 6 slides) OR corporate movie (max. 1\,5 min) in the Lounge;\nHost(ess)/support on site; \nSupport in arranging meetings with Taiwanese stakeholders; \nHotel recommendation; and \nJoint promotion.  \n\nParticipation costs\nPIB Taiwan members:           free of charge\nHHWE members:                  €1.250\,00\nNon-members:                      €1.750\,00 \nParticipants are responsible for their own travel expenses. All prices are without VAT. \nMore information and registration\nYou can register yourself via the ticket system above.
