SUMMARY:Netherlands Lounge @ Wind Energy Trade Show Ireland SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:The Netherlands Lounge at the Wind Energy Trade Show Ireland is sold out.  \nAlready a leader in onshore wind energy\, Ireland has the project pipeline and the determination to become a force in offshore renewables as well. In May 2023\, Ireland successfully held its first-ever offshore wind auction. Four projects with a combined capacity of 3GW were awarded. The successful completion of the auction is a breakthrough for renewables in Ireland and critical to achieving the targets set in Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action Plan. \nThe auction is a crucial landmark for the expansion of offshore wind in Ireland. As of now Ireland only has one small offshore wind farm of 25MW. The acution is also key to delivering Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action Plan. Ireland wants to have 5GW of installed offshore wind capacity and further 2GW of floating wind capacity under development by 2030. It’s central to the government’s target to provide 80% of electricity from renewables by 2030. But that will only be the beginning\, because by 2050\, Ireland aspires to have at least 37GW of offshore wind. \nIreland is now also working on a National Industrial Strategy for Offshore Wind – to be published in the first quarter of 2024. The Strategy aims to ensure that Ireland can build up the supply chain needed to deliver its offshore wind ambitions. And that it captures the long-term benefits of offshore wind for both the economy and society. And there’s a lot of work to do on the Irish supply chain. Crucially Ireland needs to invest in its port infrastructure. This is a top priority for the government. And Ireland must ensure it has a robust planning system that can quickly assess applications. The lack of resources and capacity in the National Parks & Wildlife Service and the delays in setting up the Maritime Area Regulatory Authority are critical concerns. \nAll of these developments and challenges create opportunities for Dutch wind power companies to enter the Irish market and contribute to the local supply chain. Now is the time to capitalize on your business opportunities\, and be part of the FIRST EVER Wind Energy Exhibition in Ireland! \nThe Wind Energy Trade Show 2023 is an exciting new event which will bring together Ireland’s growing domestic supply chain\, the key players in the global wind energy industry and cutting edge research from Ireland and internationally for the country’s first Wind Energy Trade Show. The 2023 Trade Show will showcase the exciting potential for new entrants into the Irish market and introduce the world Irish stakeholders. This event will be a meeting place where the world’s major players and key industry leaders will chart a vision for Ireland’s energy future alongisde a rapidly growing network of local and European suppliers all looking to invest in our energy revolution. \nNetherlands Lounge\nHolland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE)\, together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Dublin\, will set up a Netherlands Lounge with a total floorspace between of 54sqm\, in which every participant will get individual exposure. The Lounge is conveniently located at the expo hall\, and can accommodate up to 14 companies. \nParticipation includes the following: \n\nFully furnished booth with customized Netherlands / wind and water works branding;\nOwn poster desk for each participating company;\nCorporate photos and logo integrated in the Lounge graphics;\nCompany profile in (online) directory Wind Energy Trade Show;\nShared TV screen to display corporate video (max. 1\,5 min) or PowerPoint Presentation (max. 6 slides);\nHost(ess)/support on site by HHWE\, Dutch Embassy Dublin and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO);\nParticipation in the complete program during the week\, including a Dutch-Irish networking program (TBC);\n1 exhibitor pass per company (additional passes against reduced rate);\nSupport with arranging meetings on the exhibition floor;\nDrinks & snacks in the Lounge;\nHotel and travel recommendation; and\nJoint promotion.\n\nParticipation costs\nPIB Ireland members:              free of charge (additional passes against reduced rate)\nNon PIB members:                  €2.200\,00 \nParticipants are responsible for their own travel expenses. All prices are without VAT. \nMore information and registration\nTo register\, please use the ticket system above.
