SUMMARY:Join the Dutch delegation in the largest Polish Offshore Wind Conference
DESCRIPTION:Poland’s largest offshore wind energy conference is approaching! The event is organised by the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) and will take place in Warsaw on November 21-22\, 2023. As the PWEA underlines – the expected capacity increase in offshore wind farms from 5 to 12GW by 2030 is a landmark step toward the dynamic development of this new sector in Poland\, although the industry is well aware that the potential of the Polish part of the Baltic Sea is much larger! \nA great opportunity to join the Dutch Trade delegation to the largest Polish offshore wind conference. Hear about latest updates\, meet with industry leaders & government officials and exchange knowledge with local partners. \nThe programme contains the following:\n\nPanel debates (i.e. on status of administrative procedures\, a vision for offshore wind development in Poland\, benefits and opportunities for the economy and society);\nThematic roundtables; and\nworkshops (i.e. challenges of the 2nd phase of the OWE development in Poland.\n\nJust as last year\, PIB Cluster Linked by Offshore Wind is one of main international partners of the conference. Therefore\, we have special invitation for Dutch companies which includes: \n\nSeparate Dutch room for meetings;\nB2B meetings with the Polish developers and local supply chain companies;\nB2B meetings with Norweb – Nordic companies;\nOpportunity to participate in the panels as a speaker;\nList of participants upfront; and\nPart of the panels in Englisch other part translated.\n\nParticipation fee\n\nFree for PIB members (one ticket per PIB company)\n€ 550 net for companies\n\nFollow the QR code to secure your application\n \n  \n  \nFor questions (no applications) send an email to e.vandenburg@linkedbyoffshorewind.eu or p.wrobel@linkedyoffshorewind.eu.

SUMMARY:South Korea Trade Mission
DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with The ELBE Alliance\, Blue Cluster is organizing a trade mission to South Korea for SMEs active in renewable offshore energy in November 2023. This mission aims to establish contacts with local organizations and companies that are active in the renewable energy. \nWhy Korea?\nThe wind energy sector can become the difference-maker that gives South Korea’s renewable energy progress that much-needed boost. The country’s vast potential for offshore wind is already starting to attract some of the leading developers in the industry. What remains to be seen is the scale of investments and the speed of the transition. Judging by the first signs\, South Korea’s future promises to be ‘windy’. \nAs part of its Green New Deal\, South Korea aims to generate 20% of its power with renewables by 2030. The target for offshore wind capacity is 12GW\, a significant increase from the 124.5MW the country has today. Next to fixed-bottom offshore wind\, South Korea is aiming to build 10GW of floating offshore wind in Ulsan and South West Korea. \nPreliminary program\n \nFor more details about the offshore wind opportunities\, the preliminary program\, the individual components of the program and the organizer of the mission\, please download the PDF document of ELBE here. \nMore information and registration\nIf you are interested to join the mission\, please express your interest via the Blue Cluster website here. \nFor more information\, please reach out to Hanne Deprez from the Blue Cluster (hanne.deprez@bluecluster.be | +32 472 55 67 09).
