From 17-19 October 2017, Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) will organize, for the seventh time in a row, a Holland Pavilion at the China Wind Power (CWP) in Beijing, China.
The CWP is by far the most important platform in Asia for (inter)national wind energy companies, with focus on both onshore and offshore wind. In 2016, 617 organizations took part in the fair, including 401 participants from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and 216 participants from the rest of the world. A total of 37.029 visitors - including 24.271 Chinese visitors – visited the fair last year. Partly due to the explosive growth of offshore wind in China, this year even more participants and visitors are expected. The organization of the fair are the Global Wind Energy Council, the China Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA) and the China Wind Energy Association.
The Holland Pavilion will be at booth W1D06, in the Hall where also the other international pavilions (Denmark, Germany and the UK) are allocated. The booth will be the same size as last year: 36m². A total of maximum 8 companies can participate at the Pavilion.
To increase the exposure of the participants, we will ensure that company profiles are included in the catalog, there will be a TV present to play PPT-slides and HHWE will hopefully get multiple slots for presentations at the conference.
One day prior to the exhibition (Monday morning October 16), HHWE will - in collaboration with RVO and the Dutch Embassy in Beijing - organize the Sino-Dutch wind event. This year mr. Rene Moor and mr. Ruud de Bruijne of Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) are invited by National Energy Administration of China to give a 'masterclass' on Netherlands offshore wind policy and tender system. The Dutch companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to the invited Chinese companies. Besides the masterclass there will be two topics to discuss: Offshore wind turbine installation and higher yield in windfarms.
With support of our Consulate General in Guangzhou mr. Moor and mr. de Bruijne will visit respectively Fuzhou (Wednesday 18th) and Guangzhou (Thursday 19th) in South China. In these cities also master classes will be organized and the Dutch offshore supply chain will be introduced by HHWE. The Fuzhou Fujian Development and Reform Commission and Guangdong Energy Bureau will invite relevant companies to join. Dutch companies are invited to join these masterclasses in Fuzhou and Guangzhou as well and will have the opportunity to present themselves.
HHWE members can participate at fee of EUR 4.100 (excluding flight ticket and hotel costs). For non-HHWE members the fee will be EUR 4.900 (excluding flight ticket and hotel costs).
To cover part of the fee, SME’s can apply for an RVO missievoucher with a maximum worth of EUR 1.500. If help is needed to apply for this voucher, please contact Eline Timmer.
