From February 28 till March 2, DUJAMDesk and Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) organized the Holland Pavilion at the Wind Expo Tokyo in Japan, for the fifth time.
One day prior to the exhibition, a seminar was organized in cooperation with the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA). The seminar was highly received by both Dutch and Japanese companies and after the seminar there were several follow-up discussion between the companies.
Thanks to the efforts of DUJAMDesk, the Pavilion had a great look and feel that gained a lot of attention. Please see pictures below for an impression of the booth.
The Japanese market is slowly taking off, but several Dutch companies already doing good business. Now that the first OWF projects will start soon, even more business is expected.
Because of the lack of knowledge throughout the whole supply chain, there are many opportunities for the Dutch companies. Last year, GustoMSC received a large order for a jack-up vessel, for which Huisman Equipment delivered the crane. It’s very important for Dutch companies to position themselves right now in Japan. Developments are gaining momentum!
