Invitation to join the Partners for International Business program for Offshore Wind in Taiwan

Are you working in the offshore wind sector and looking for new business opportunities in Taiwan? Join the PIB Offshore Wind Cluster Taiwan and receive full and dedicated support of the Dutch government for a period of three years.

What is the PIB Offshore Wind Consortium Taiwan?

PIB (Partners for International Business) is a public-private venture that is aimed at enhancing the visibility and position of participating companies on promising foreign markets. By joining forces and present Dutch offshore wind expertise in one powerful cluster, the chance to get a foothold in new markets increases substantially. With the back-up of the PIB and the benefits of the power in numbers that comes along with it, the aim of the programme is to eventually provide a platform for the individual consortium members to be actively involved in forthcoming offshore wind projects in Taiwan.

What is the potential of Offshore Wind in Taiwan?

Offshore Wind in Taiwan has unbelievable potential, particularly the Taiwan Strait is having one of the best offshore wind resources in the world. The Taiwanese government is strongly committed to pursue its ambition to produce 5,5 GW of electricity through offshore wind by 2025. Due to the lack of specific knowledge, technology and experience in offshore wind projects, Taiwan is open for international cooperation with innovative Dutch companies throughout the whole offshore wind value chain. The PIB Offshore Wind Consortium Cluster is established to anticipate on current and future opportunities and to provide a platform for Dutch companies to enter this market.

Who is joining the PIB Offshore Wind Consortium Taiwan to date?

For Taiwan the following companies have already registered to participate in this interesting programme: Blue H. Engineering, GustoMSC, Independent eXperts, LM Wind Power, TNO, Trelleborg Ridderkerk, Sif Group and Wind Minds. IHC IQIP and TKI Wind op Zee are strategic partners.
