With the back-up of the PIB and the benefits of the power in numbers that comes along with it, the aim of the programme is to eventually provide a platform for the individual consortium members to be actively involved in forthcoming offshore wind projects in Taiwan.
What is the potential of Offshore Wind in Taiwan?
Offshore Wind in Taiwan has unbelievable potential, particularly the Taiwan Strait is having one of the best offshore wind resources in the world. The Taiwanese government is strongly committed to pursue its ambition to produce 5,5 GW of electricity through offshore wind by 2025.
