DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that we will be attending the WindEurope Annual Event 2025\, taking place from April 8-10\, 2025\, at the Bella Center in Copenhagen\, Denmark. This premier event will bring together over 15\,000 industry professionals and more than 500 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in wind energy. It is an unmissable opportunity for networking\, learning\, and exploring new business prospects. See who is exhibiting through the floorplan here or through the exhibitors list. \nDenmark\, the birthplace of wind energy\, continues to lead the way in renewable energy. With more than half of its electricity generated by wind power—up to 55%—Denmark is setting new records and driving the future of clean energy. WindEurope\, in partnership with the city of Copenhagen and key Danish stakeholders\, is proud to host this pivotal industry event. Following the record-breaking attendance of nearly 16\,000 participants in 2023\, we anticipate even greater participation in 2025. \nAs Europe moves closer to its 2030 energy and climate targets\, the need to accelerate the energy transition has never been more urgent. The WindEurope Annual Event 2025 will be a key opportunity for the sector to come together\, set the course for future success\, and ensure wind energy plays a central role in achieving Europe’s sustainable energy goals. \nThe year 2025 will also mark a turning point in European politics\, with a new European Commission taking office in November 2024. Wind energy will face increased scrutiny as governments evaluate the costs and benefits of the energy transition. This is the time to showcase the value of wind—not only in combating climate change but also as a source of jobs\, innovation\, and energy sovereignty. SUMMARY:WindEurope Bilbao Conference & Exhibition 2022
DESCRIPTION:The WindEurope Bilbao Conference & Exhibition\, organized by WindEurope\, will take place in Bilbao on 5-7 April 2022. It will be the second time Bilbao has hosted the event\, after 2019. It will be a full exhibition and conference\, showcasing the latest in onshore and offshore wind\, as wind gears up to be Europe’s leading source of electricity later this decade. \nThe event will comprise an exhibition showcasing the latest development in wind energy and a conference covering all the key market\, technology\, and policy issues. The last WindEurope event in Bilbao in 2019 attracted 300 exhibitors and 8\,500 visitors\, creating an economic impact of more than €10m euros in terms of GDP. \nThe event will come at a decisive time for the European wind industry. The EU and national Governments are counting on the indsutry to help deliver Europe’s climate and energy targets. Wind is 16% of Europe’s electricity consumption today. The EU wants it to be half by 2050 – and electricity to play a much bigger role in the energy mix. That implies a huge expansion in wind energy: from 180GW in the EU today to 1\,300GW by 2050.
