Are you active in the field of offshore wind energy (fixed/floating), port development or hydrogen and do you want to learn more about the business opportunities in Ireland? Consider joining the trade mission to Ireland that will take place September 11-14, 2022!

The ambition of the Irish government is to have 5GW offshore wind operational by 2030. The potential of offshore wind in Ireland is much bigger though; up to 70 – 100 GW (post 2030). There are great opportunities in the short term for companies who can support the local supply chain with the installation of bottom-fixed wind farms and the development of ports. Market potential in the longer term lies within the floating wind and hydrogen sectors. This trade mission will explore these sub-sectors and the cooperation with the Irish supply chain and developers in particular.

The trade mission is organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dublin, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) in the framework of Wind and Water Works and will take place in the South-West region of Ireland, flying into Cork. During the three-day visit, you will have the opportunity to participate in site-visits, presentations, matchmaking and business lunches and dinners. You will gain up-to-date insights into the Irish wind sector and have the opportunity to strengthen your position on the Irish market.
