In onshore wind, Spain is one of the most important countries on the continent with 27 GW of installed capacity. And their Offshore Wind Roadmap aims to build up to 3 GW of floating wind by 2030. Today the industry employs 28,000 people in Spain and adds €3bn to its GDP. But their ambitions for wind continue to grow, and wind is at the heart of their long-term energy strategy. Bilbao is the headquarters for two of Europe’s leading renewable energy leaders. Meanwhile the Basque Country aims to become a major offshore energy hub in the years ahead. When it comes to the energy transition, Bilbao’s future looks bright indeed! All the more reason for us to be heading to Bilbao for WindEurope’s Annual Event 2024.

From 20-22 March, WindEurope Bilbao offers a three-day conference and exhibition. There will be dozens of conference sessions, hundreds of speakers, and 400+ exhibitors from the whole value chain looking to showcase their innovations and seal new deals. There will be social events across the event for you to reach out to other visitors and educational sessions showing you all the ins and outs of wind energy. And plenty of time in between it all to sample all the gastronomic and architectural delights Bilbao has to offer!

Netherlands Pavilion & participation costs

As part of the wind and water works platform, HHWE, IRO and NWEA will organize a Netherlands Pavilion (Dutch Village) at the upcoming WindEurope Annual Event in Bilbao. A total floorspace of 250sqm is reserved for the Netherlands Pavilion.

There are three ways to participate:

• All-in stand package: €985/sqm, includes lunch, drinks & snacks, carpet, desk, high tables + chairs (excl. wall prints and/or alternative furniture). A one-time fee of €440 is charged on top of the stand price for mandatory marketing package.
• Space only package: €645/sqm. A one-time fee of €440 is charged on top of the stand price for mandatory marketing package.
• Lounge package: €3.400, includes participation in the Lounge with a poster, including one free entrance ticket + online company listing.

Rates for all-in stand and space only package include 1 free full exhibitor pass per 9sqm booked. Additional passes can be obtained against the regular ticket price: in 2023 for a 3-days exhibitor pass (incl. lunch) the price was €165, the 2024 rate is not available yet.

Registration

At this moment, pre-registration is only possible for previous participants in Dutch Villages at WindEurope events. In the week of September 11, registration will open for everyone else – if not fully booked yet.
