This mission is organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Canada and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), with support from Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE).

The Canadian offshore wind market

Canada is actively expanding its wind energy sector. Over the past three years, the country’s capacity has increased from 14,5 GW to 19,8 GW. When it comes to offshore wind, Canada is focused on leveraging its vast, windy coastlines in Atlantic Canada. In 2024, legislation was passed at both the federal and provincial levels to drive the development of the offshore wind sector in this region.

The mission program will include, amongst other elements: roundtable discussions (both together with other international delegations and with Canadian industry stakeholders), networking lunches, dinners and receptions, presentations by Canadian federal and provincial governments, matchmaking and company exposure via a Dutch industry pop-up booth at the Marine Renewables Canada Conference & exhibition (TBC).

Participation and costs

Participation fee: CA$1150.00 (EUR710.00)
Includes: Participation in collective mission activities, local organizational support, and participation in the conference.
Excludes: Airfare, accommodation, and individual transfers (at your own expense).
