On February 11, 2020, an Offshore Wind Energy Opportunity Seminar France was organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. During this seminar, an action plan was presented, but since that day, much has happened and the whole world is living in a surreal situation because of the measures taken around the COVID-19 virus. As a result, many (physical) events and activities have been postponed or cancelled.
France has been in lockdown since March 16. However, this does not mean that activities in the offshore wind sector in France have come to a standstill, on the contrary; work on the various offshore wind farm projects continues, and the French consortia and companies are actively looking for partners and suppliers for these projects.
We want to give Dutch companies the opportunity to make the right contacts with French companies at this time, therefore we will organize a digital matchmaking in the month of June (exact data TBC).
